I've seen it done before. Guy just chopped the fenders in half about half way across the wheel well and welded teh silvia one on front.

That's a lot of work to convert a 240sx fender. Just drive to West Covina (Nismo Shop) and get the fenders there. 200 isn't that much, plus new ones are better than used crappy ones.

if you really don't want or can't find the full ones in good condition. then yeah weld em.But if you're worried about getting Silvia fenders in bad condition, welding them would make em come out even worse. That is unless you have a kick arse body man to do it, but then again, they could fix the silvia fender to brand new.

nope i live in chicago now, even then 200 each plus shipping might as well save up a few hundred more and get a whole front clip, this idea just came up in my head i did the archive search instead of a recent so sorry guys, neighbor said the tabs and stuff might be a problem but he's a welder so a bit of sheet metal and a pic with specifics would be good even then put on my silvia bumper and headlights and he can see when the bracket for the headlight goes and go from there, im just gonna buy a 240 fender from the yard and he said he'll mess around. s*** 15 bucks down the drain if it doesnt work? not bad
