I want a lip spoiler for the front of my 1990 Q45. Has anyone done this before? Pictures How to?

Now that would be nice. No need for a whole bumper swap. Just some clean extensions would greatly improve the over all look of our 1gen Q's. I've been contemplating grafting the 94-96 lower portion onto the 90-93 bumper, which my car is a 92. I'm not sure but it appears the 94-96 rear hangs a bit lower too. It would seem a lip kit would be easier to produce than an entire bumper

I thought I saw a lip for the 94-96 bumper. Its not a complex thing to graft the 94-96 lower half to a 90-93 bumper. There primarily the same halfway up. Anyhow, just a thought. One I'm getting closer to trying. Big issue is finding something for the rear and I'd like a true dual outlet on mine. Can anyone confirm the later bumpers hang lower than the early bumpers?? Definitely want to cover the backend up you know.

I was daydreaming about making a front adjustable spoiler added to the extended lip. I don't care for the rear bumper lip, not my cup of tea. I like the looks of a lip-less rear bumper you might say.

So has anyone done anything with the Stock bumper, or is this something that hasn't been done before? I'm just spoiled with the options available for my Datsun and my s13.

I've never heard of anyone making and installing a lip on a G50. I know there are a few atermarket body kits out there, but a lot of them are, in my opinion, hideous.

IMPUL makes (made?) a kit for the G50, which I imagine is something along the lines of what you're looking for, as far as the front lip goes. Unfortunately it looks like their page for the G50 is in Japanese only, but the pictures will hopefully tell you what you need to know:

As far as differences between the early and late G50 bumpers go, I think they are pretty siimilar as how far they go down. Here's a side-by side shot of my '94 sitting next to a '91:

Both bumpers seem to go down about the same distance. It's a bit hard to tell from the difference in ride height, but they look pretty similar. The late bumper slopes down more on the top surface, but there is less vertical flat space between the tail lights and where the top surface of the bumper starts.
This shot was taken before I had completed my dual exhaust. It has chrome tips on it now and I hid the hangers a bit better.
