Lots of people around here have the Q45 calipers. From all I have read, it seems to be a choice upgrade.

Pretty sure they're brand new (and expensive), so not many people have them yet. Phase2 sells them BTW

Folks have been doing Q45 brake upgrades for years. The "Nismo kit" may be new, but the use of the parts is by no means a new idea. If they are based on those calipers, go to the junk yard, get a set and some rotors and save some $. The only reason that I would get the Nismo kit is because everything is brand new, but you can rebuild the used calipers.

Make sure you also get the caliper brackets. Another upgrade are 96 maxima calipers and 94-97 altima rotors. Those are the same parts that come on the K's Silvia in Japan. Still single piston but larger.

Don't forget people......

Hit up partsamerica.com for fully loaded, rebuilt calipers of your choice (Q45, 300ZX, ect) for a sweet price. Better than rooting around through the junkyard and rebuilding the calipers yourself IMO...........

One thing though, how do we do this to an S13? I have heard of it done, but I'm not sure about parts. I know that one can have the rotors redrilled for 4 lug, but what about caliper brackets? I know that non-SE S14 uses the same brakes as a S13, but what all do we need to do this for a 4 lug S13?

Dang 5 lug sounds better every day...
