I just bought a brand new spoiler for my new Versa SL. It was painted to the factory color (onyx blue) and now I have to get it installed. I'm not sure if I'm confident enough to install it myself. Or I could pay $75-$100 to get it installed.

Yeah, if you've never done this before, have somone do it for you. You don't want to damage your car's body and then have to pay more for repairs, $75-100 is money well spent if you get somebody to do a good job for you. Just go and find a reputable body shop, you'll be glad you did.

Spoilers are very easy to install IF and only IF you have done any type of body work before. If your spoiler involves drilling holes, and you have never drilled holes on a painted body and done it properly and cleanly without messing up your paint, then take it to a shop. They will gurantee their work.

I want to install a spoiler on my sedan but they don't make one for it yet. I was thinking about trying a 2005 maxima spoiler?? it might fit and I think it would look good. Do you guys think this is a good or bad idea? The Maxima (71.7 in) is exactly 5 inches wider than the V (66.7) but from what I can tell in the pictures the trunk isn't any wider.. I made a rendition of what it might look like. Please give me your input.
