has anyone here used a 5-spd ecu for an auto

just like justins post last week but backwards ... i finally found an ECU (cheap too) from a r33 5-spd and i was wondering if they are the same or what? my motor is a r33 AUTO so i hope it works if not maybe you would like to trade justin? Ill im you later.

YOU CAN'T BECAUSE THE AUTOMATIC HAS SENSORS THAT IS INPUTS BECAUSE THE TRANSIMISSION IS CONTROLLED BY THE ECU.

If you are running the auto transmission then you need the auto ecu. That I know.

On AWD skylines if there is an auto transmission it is controlled by a seperate control unit. I'm not sure if the GTSt is like that... I don't think it is.

you MUST use the automatic ecu, a 5 speed one will not control the auto transmission.

and FYI you can use a auto ecu with a 5 speed but not the other way around.

i dunno, car isnt running yet. wiring still isnt back.

but i dont think i need a mines program, basically stock RB25 for some time, if i ever upgrade ecu's it will be a power FC
