Just seeing if anyone went through this website, I was on a classic Z forum and a bunch of people liked it, but Idk prices are dirt cheap I don't think they come with harnesses. It just kinda of seems like another osaka because the prices. I was still debating whether I should go through Jazzpro until I heard they were the same as Osaka, Heavythrottle seems nice and really reliable but they cost $2900 shipped, I almost just wanna start on a Ka-T for alot cheaper.....

I got my SR20DET front clip from Royal Japanese for $2750 can. inc tax, delivered. Great service, covered my seized turbo that arrived like that by sending another one upon receiving the bad turbo.I bought a KA24E from tigerjapanese and it locked up after 4 days use. They eventually refunded the cost of the motor but I am out shipping and labor as I did not have time for the 91 Stanza engine change (previous owners did not seem to do ANY maintenance) myself. I`m out 900.00 and still have no engine for what was going to be my youngest Daughters (17) first car. I certainly will not be buying or recommending tigerjapanese to anyone.

I've been looking into tigerjapanese for a bit now. Found many more good reviews than bad reviews but after asking in two differnte emails whether or not the ecu came with the swap package and hearing no reply back from them I will not purchase from them. I figured out on my own after reading through their faq, warranty, etc that if the part is not listed it will not come with the swap but still... even the courtesey email to say no would haev been nice. No customer support on the smallest scale = I walk and go elsewhere.-Rik

I actually ordered an RB20det swap from tigerjapanese and it ended up only being like 1000 shipped to my door! The motor looks like its in good shape. I took the transmission off and there was a brand new clutch and pressure plate. BUT you are right there was no ecu and the harness was cut up. There was no plug for the ecu. It was totally missing. And it didnt come with a MAF. I emailed them and asked if they would send me the parts but I got no response. I lifted the motor off of the pallet and actually found a mitsubishi ecu that had been stabbed by one of the motor mounts. I ended up buying a wiring harness from someone on this site for 100 and I bought an ECU and MAF on ebay for under 200 dollars so all in all it will be a cheap swap. I guess I will find out if the motor is good here in a few weeks when I install it. Good luck

I got my sr from tigerjapanese. Mine ended coming with some hks264 cams and a new clutch. Ive been running my motor for about six months and never had any problems with it. It think it was 1450 to my front door. Also one of the guys in my club bought a 1jz for his swap and he hasnt had any problems with his motor. The only thing is that you will pay extra for the ecu and wiring harness. I just got a brand new harness off ebay and an ecu from one of my friends. So the whole swap cost me about 1600. When I sent them and email they replied right back when I asked them about the ecu and maf

Yea they have some descent prices but there warrenty only covers the engine so that kind of sucks, I'd look into it to see if its extra for the ignitor chip and MAF
