I've been looking everywhere to see if anybody carries cam gears for just the regular old pulsar so I don't have to order the expensive ones from Japan and I was wondering if anybody else ever found any. Seems like somebody would make something. Just a thought.

its all the same CA18DE=CA18DET... and I doubt anyone in the US makes pulsar cam gears (I've never heard of this at least)

Yeah, I'm well aware they're the same, which is why it's all the more frustrating that I haven't been able to find any cam gears for the Pulsar. Hopefully somebody's seen some somewhere.

How much is "expensive"? I was quoted about $300, 32,000 yen to be exact, for a set of cam gears ordered directly from JUN. Price goes down to about $260 (28,000 yen) if you order a cam kit. Cam kit is around $1-1.3k <-- is "expensive".

Yeah, $300 is a pretty penny. I might just end up having to spend it, but I figured I'd try and think of everything else first.

$300 isn't too bad for a set... I mean most Honda and DSM guys pay that much for AEM's which are junk. I know Fidanza's are about the same price wise as well.
