Apperantly Z1 made these a little while ago but stopped production because of cost. If I could get my hands on a set of these it would save me a lot of time and material having to fabricate for my new turbos and the wastegates. Maybe you know if someone with a set that would be willing to part with them?

Thanks for any help

Brad

specialtyz made them, not z1, the inconel manifolds.

not just the cost, but they would also crack after a while.

For some reason the Z32 only likes cast turbo manifolds.

Yea but after a little mocking up I'm going to need tube style or similar. That or I seriously hack up my stock manifolds to fit the t3 and extra pipe for my waste gates! We have several ideas in mind but these would save any possible hack jobs I might have to resort to.

Anyone in particulat at SZ that would know about finding a set of these? Don't you have a contact there mark that your always dealing with?

Pretty limited as I stand now, Trying to see all my options and not have something that looks hacked

I always deal with Greg. I talked to him earlier today so he should be there.

Found a set here in canada, of all places, for dirt cheap so picked up up. Should be here in 2-3 weeks at the slowest cheapest shipping available haha

Good luck. Like stated before, the manifolds will crack. Its not that they are bad manifolds its just something about our engine not getting along with tubular manifolds.

Maybe it has something to do with the fact that there are only 3 cylinders per manifold? Maybe because of so much heat in such a little place? :gotme

Good luck man... This is where the phrase "do it right the first time" comes into play. You will find yourself having to pull the engine to replace manifolds.

Can you suggest an option with enough space or an exsisting location for wastegates?

You can reinforce them with stainless bar. Get flex pipes on your test pipes to help.

Like gussets or rods to support the weight of the turbos?
