Most of the engine importers/dealers not only use there site, but EBay, to get there name out with the practically free advertisement. Think about it, you get on EBay and type in "SR20DET", not only will you see these dinky little parts, but all these importers attempting to make a sale.

So yes, there ARE plenty of people who have used the method of buying an engine VIA ebay, but its practically the same as if you were to call the dealer and PayPal him the money then. The only good thing through EBay is the assurance that you will get your engine in a timely manner, and if not - you write to EBay and complain.

well i know some importer/dealers sell on ebay but almost every importer/dealer on there doesnt have the greatest rep(most of the time)and also why are they so damn cheap if they arent crap

Think of it this way those motors only actually cost them like300-500 dollars in japan. i mean its like going to your local junkyard and trying to get a ka motor your not going to pay no more than five hundred dollar. The rest of the money is shipping profit and hype.

Agreed. I know somewhere on this site there is a list of who has a good reputation, bad reputation, etc.
