It's only vinyl that covers the lights. It looks cool. looks to me like all they do is splice the taillights into the turn signals. The signal from the switch and flasher will control the tail lights, and the brake kights will still function as normal. That way when your foot is on the brake the lights will still work, yet the flasher will flash the tail lights. Simple really i will try it on my car and see what happend. I will get back to you.
