has anyone done a VG30DETT swap in a s14

basically the what the topic says

ive seen LS1's dropped in without a problem

and this sounds stupidbut from the pictures ive seen, after all the intake is on the VGit looks wider than an LS1

someone help me with some info please?

with all the other choices for swaps why??? the VG 30 is a great motor takes the modifications good and probably is one of the hardest most lacking in room difficult aggravating motors there are to work on especially with the EGR system from hell!!!! the S. 14 is a great chassis why not look at other choices you will bleed less and probably have more success

i saw that thread, but i have an s14, not a 13as it said in the topic

and i was thinking of the VG swap, cuz its less than half the price of a RBidk, ive been looking for an LS1 for a while, but i cant seem to find any cheap

Well, I've never heard anything about an S14 being done, but if it went into an S13.. it's definitely do-able into an S14. You could do it, but an RB would be easier since there's already parts and knowledge to accommodate the swap.
