has anyone done a 300zx to 350sbc swap

V8 240sx? Sure! If either the chassis OR the engine is non-Nissan (i.e. SR20 in an RX-7 or LS1 in a 240sx), we've done it.

you should check out hybridz.org

Much more info over there. I cant imagine its too difficult to fit though, my 350 went into my Z31 fairly easy.

You may run into clearance issues with the firewall / heater core hoses. I know it isnt a 350sbc, but people that swap the LS based engines in z32's run into that clearance problem.

What transmission do you intend on running? Will the sbc be carb'd or FI?Headers will have to be shorty style since the steering linkage gets in the way.Check out Moroso, and see about getting they're oil pan that offers the lowest clearance.
