Has anyone de-badged a G37 coupe? I'm thinking of doing it.

There's a lot of badging on the back (the gigantic infiniti logo, the word "i n f i n i t i" and the "G37" badge). My first thought was to pull them all off. Then I thought maybe just leave the Infiniti badge. But it's HUGE. I fully debadged my last black car (Audi A6 2.7T) and it looked phenomenal.

I assume it's just glued on, and a heat gun + rubbing will get it off.

Thoughts?

Heat Gun and either rubbing alcohol or Goo-Gone should do the trick. Buff if nesc.

I think I'll start with the "Infiniti" letters and then decide if it needs more (less).

Take everything off but the Symbol. I did and it looks great!

I would go with dental floss as some fishing line is very abrasive.

Personally I am thinking of removing the logo first to see how that looks. Then removing INFINITI later if I think it's necessary. I don't want the back end "bald", just less cluttered.

I pulled off the "INFINITI" badges. I like it. I now kinda wish the logo was a little lower.

I'm surprised at how well the Infiniti letters stay on considering how small they are.

I'm sure you can find a Infiniti logo on ebay that is smaller than the one you have now (to me, it's huge for the area). The one I have sitting around here from a G20 is smaller....

I just took my INFINITI lettering off this weekend. Still thinking about removing the G37S badging. I used some goo gone, fishing line and elbow grease after letting the letters soak in the GG for a couple minutes. I think it looks clean like the picture shows.

I like the debadged look as well.

Dental floss + Goo-Gone, and make sure you polish and wax GOOD after removal.
