I got the 100,000 mile extended warranty.
I learned my lesson with my prior vehicle - I had a 2004 Murano from new, did not get the extended warranty, and ok, I put 125,000 miles on it in 3.5 years, but there was no excuse for all the repairs that were needed on it, which included:Catalytic converter (roughly $1000)transmission control valve ($1700)Fan belts replaced ($250)Wheel bearings ($400 x 3 times)Tire pressure sensor ($270)transmission case (broke 1,000 miles before standard warranty expired luckily)Nav unit needed replacing (again, just before standard warranty expired)Stereo head unit was replaced twice (just before warranty expired)
I also paid for the service plan, which I think was $800 and covers all recommended services and oil changes. I also got the paint chips, windshield, wheels and tires warranty thing too, which was like $400ish.
Hopefully this car shouldn't now cost much more to run over the next 4 years!
