Just curious on people thoughts who have actually had experience with Full Race's GT3071R Twin Scroll Setup. The dyno is fairly impressive for only 19 psi (387hp with better spool than the GT2871R). I'm thinking of going that route, but wanted to get some insight first, lol.

I'm going with the twin scroll 3076. In my humble opinion, for 400whp or less it's really a waste of money to spend 3k on the twin scroll setup when it will only be at most 250 RPM (pulled straight from the dyno sheet you reference) more responsive than the single scroll setup. $1300 for 250 rpm? Waste IMO. But when you go with larger housings the twin scroll becomes worth it because it is far more responsive than the alternative.

Goto Fresh Alloy and search their forums. There are 2 or 3 recent 3071r twin scroll threads....

Yeah, I found them lol

Which turbo to go with is still up in the air. the 71 will spool faster, and from what I have read is more reliable, lol. The 76 will give me more top end definitely. I want about 400whp for now, but after I build the SR, I'm looking for more around 500-550whp....

I'd say you could save your money now, run the stock bottom mount and a 2871r, then when you build the engine, go topmount and gt35r

I would rather not wast my money buying an "in between" turbo, lol. I think the 3071r TS will do just fine for what I want to do.

A GT35R is a bit much for a SR. My 3071R SR made 459 RWHP on 20psi boost and base fuel pressure. The 3071 and 3076 are plenty capable. But you better build the bottom end, get your fuel system just right, ignition right, and have one bitchin tune job. Good Luck though.

zerothread/296883

this is his whole thread i know he's using some adjustable injectors that can flow up to 1000cc i beleive... the one thing i dont understand is in this thread he said he made this power on stock fuel pressure but in his thread he says he amde his dyno runs on 30psi of fuel, which is pretty far bellow stock... im going to be running an extremely similar setup as him except im bottom mount. and i will be running 740's , i hope theyll do the trick... wont find out till friday when i receive my engine back from machine shop.. hope this answers some of your questiosn

On the base fuel pressure of 30 these injectors ran at about 680cc..... i will be re-tuning the setup after i get some miles on the motor at just over 3bar of fuel pressure. As most fuel injectors they are "rated" at 3bar of pressure, my injectors are custom grind injectors from FiveOMotorsportsthey will flow a max of 1000cc of fuel but once again, dependant on fuel pressure. Hope this helps clear some questions up.
