I was looking at this clutch and lightweight flywheel combo and I am almost tempted to buy it to see if it works. Then I thought to myself, why not ask the cool kids. So has anyone used this so called high perfermance clutch and flywheel and how does it handle?

i wish the flywheel existed when i bought the clutch, or i would have gotten it too. i want you to get it, because its worth a shot, especialyl for that price.

half the people here are gonna say the XTD is a piece of ****. i honestly believe these are people that ****ed up their clutch installs.

if i didnt make it clear, i have this clutch. its grabs some serious ***, thats for sure. the clutch pedal feel is stock. the pressure plate is an exedy, and im not sure its any better than a stock plate. however, for the price its worth it.

ive had 8k on it since jan with no problems. still grabs and launches like a mofo.

you could have easily searched this and found a wealth of info about this, but IMO alotta the info is crap, especialyl a whole lot of **** talking.

just make sure when you get the flywheel that it is properly stepped. nissan flywheels, or at least 240 fly's have a step on the flywheel face. this step is something like .006in, and its absoluetly necessary to have a working clutch. i believe thats why people have so many clutch problems after installs, because they mistake the fly for being a flat face and have it resurfaced as such.

if you werent broke you wouldnt have even asked, so just give it a whirl

I got it combined with my fidanza and its a very good combo, just be aware that the clutch feel is much softer because of the reworked presure plate , btw break it inn properly because after you put the 500 miles is that you will feel the clamp power of the clutch, but before it will slip just alittle when you beat on it.

7k miles and still strong.
