I am going to buy a new front bar because the one i have atm needs changing due to damage and one bar in particular i have found is probably the best i have seen. The bar i have now looks quite cheap. It looks good however it is quite flimsy and thin and not strong at all. Does anyone know what the origin kits are like with regards to how sturdy and strong they are?

Origin kits are much thicker than most knock-offs, but they're still just fiberglass, so they would still shatter.

With respect to sturdiness polyurethane > fiberglass. MUCH greater.

polyurethane bumper = OEM

Every time I see one it's ripped to pieces and zip tied together.

i have an origin aggressive kit ive had for a couple years, they fit well and hold up. But like any fiberglass kit...theyre not indestructable. Ive had to get mine patched up and resprayed once.

Yeah I have an origin kit with bumpers and sideskirts and fenders. I wish there were more flexable kits, but fiberglass seems to be what we get as 240sx owners. Mine has held up well, but I too have had to patch and repaint at least once.... stupid parkin' blocks. I do like the looks of my origin s14.5 front end, but you have to be carefull with fiberglass regardless of who makes it or what car you drive.
