I see that alot of people think highly of the XTD 6 puck clutch. I drove a car wit a 6 puck clutch before and im not a big fan of it. If would have to get one i would be i perfer a street strip solid disc clutch. Has anybody used this clutch????????

Just dont' get stage 2, it is unsprung, which makes it suck! The stage 3 shouldn't be too bad, about like the xtd I'd say. I used to have a stage 3 unsprung on a previous car and it sucked. The xtd is ok, not the nicest for around town, but could be a lot worse.

Ummmmmmm why is unsprung so bad? I just got a nismo flywheel, copper track clutch unsprung and pressure plate.

Unsprung is just going to make the engagement that much stiffer and less streetable, because there is nothing to absorb the shock; it can also crack transmissions easier from the hard shock of dumping the clutch.

C, i love the grab that the puck clutches have. My main concern is launching, and driving it in the rain. With a street/strip clutch you can feel if your giving the car too much gas, or not enough. On the puck clutches you cant, if you dont give enough gas it stalls. So is it all about just getting a feel for it or what?

Nah, the XTD you can feel fine and can actually slip it a little. Not that bad.

Well i guess i can give it a try, its not an expensive clutch and most seems to not have a problem with em. If i dont like it that much i can just trade it out later, wont be that big of a loss since it's not even that much money.

Thanks for the help.

P.S. Nick since you live the closes to me, how long did shipping take if i was to order this clutch?
