It looks like one or both my catalytic converters are bad. I found these on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FG ... UTF8&psc=1. My questions is, has anybody purchased these and pass smog with them? I know it says carb complaint but I want to double check.

Thanks in advance and happy holidays!

I had to replace my right cat a few months ago and ran into this same issue. I would send a message to the seller to confirm is is CA Carb compliant. It is a universal application so you would have to get it welded and fitted for the custom mod.

Other than the universal application cats you will probably have to go with used cats off another M35 or G35 from ebay. I had to use a G35 cat since I couldn't find a decent priced cat I wanted to pay for. But haven't had any issues since.

I just found out that the link I've provided is not going to solve my problem. I have to get both the front ones and they're a lot more expensive and harder to replace. I will be bringing my car to a shop to get this fixed.

Good Luck! Hopefully not too expensive.
