Has anybody found short gearing yet

looking for a real short gear for a rear end of a 1990 nissan 240sx...i want a gear for fast *** acceleration....any ideas on how to get down a 1/4 mile track finishing in the top of 5th gear...oppose to 4th gear....

just checking if anybody found anything yet...without breaking the bank!!!

If you did some research you would have found that the 4.36 gearing out of a 180sx is what your looking for that will fit in your car. I can't think of any LSD swaps that use an even shorter gear but heres a thread concerning the usual LSD swaps, if you scroll down you can compare MPH with the 3 differentials I listed.

arghhhh....my friend put a smaller gear in the back and ran a +second quicker in the quarter.....thats what i'm talking about...i did a search arleady

they're on ebay all the time.
