Has anybody deleted the EGR system? 99 Q45T..

I hate the fact and idea of plumbing dirty exhaust back into the intake. Im in Iowa so I don't have to do any emissions. Has anyone have a viable source for a EGR block off or will it have to be custom fabricated? I'm tired of looking at the clutter and want to simplify and clean up the bay. I have read through the FSM and it looks like the MAP/baro switch is tied in with EGR? Is this correct? Looks like there are two units. Any advice, links are greatly appreciated!
