I have the syko kit on my s13 track car. It is a very well designed kit it put the motor in lower and further back than any other kit ive seen. there dump pipe is absolutely beautiful And gary from syko performance has helped me out so much with what ever issue ive had with doing the swap. great product and a real nice guy to do business with. i highly recommend the product. good luck with what ever you do. Rb the only way to go.

I have used the kit and it is by far the best in the market. Everyone that has the kit will agree with me on this. The product is top of the line and the customer service is up there with the best.

it was the best decision i made during my swap, especially after seeing all the recent threads on here about tophat and mckinney mounts falling apart, or close to it.

It sits the motor super low and as far back as it can go, the pictures in the thread will prove it. I've had the first generation of the mounts for well over a year, with a track event stuck in there. Still holds the motor just as well as it did the day i dropped it in, i can only imagine how well the new design of the mounts hold.

I say go for it, you wont regret it at all.

I was the host of the Drifting.com video, and I couldnt be happier with how my car turned out...well i'll be happier once I start on the 2nd DVD which will be the engine build, but this project looks soo damn good now, I mean, you look in my engine bay and it looks factory. I'd say its worth getting the crossmember for the added durability and reliabilty of the entire kit, I anticipate no broken mounts in future from how the mounts were constructed to work with the RB c-member. Good luck with your decision but know that Gary is the kind of guy who backs his product up by actually knowing what he's talking about, why we used him.

yeah i am on the fence regarding mounts.... i mean a r33 xmember could run me 200ish, brackets would be hard to get, then the price of the actual mounts..... but i am interested non the less

The engine brackets are should come with any rb25 motor you purchase. I never seen any engine that does not come with the mount brackets. IIRC you would need these mount brackest for ANY kit you purchase anyway so it makes no difference.

As for the crossmember, the easiest way to to get a rb25 front clip instead of a motor set.

Yo Jon probably has your engine Brackets.Call him up and get them and the rest of your stuff.

Also make sure that you get up the ITM guys @ss since your motor is going to the machine shop.

It's a good thing I got the whole r33 front clip so Im not so worried about not having the xmember or the brackets. I already emailed Gary of Syko Performance a few weeks ago and he got back to me within the same day. Now just waiting on some funds so I can make the order, afterall I'm just a student. I wonder when the special discount for Nico members will go into effect?

Most people recommend getting a frontclip when you buy a motor, good to hear you made a good choice there. But again i've never seen a motor that doesnt come with mount brackets, it's strange that people would remove this part off any engine.

Gary and I are currently working on setting up this special, it should be ready for you guys within the next few days. Just need to get a few things in order and we should be ready to go.

If you guys have any questions, feel free to contact me or Gary at Syko Performance. I'm looking forward to help build the Nico RB community with you guys.
