SCCA lawyers only require a cage for roadsters running with harnesses. They don't mind the coupes and hatches. BMW of Germany offers harnesses from the factory and I don't think those cars have cages from the factory. So I don't see it as being to big of deal unless I put some in the Z3.Note, however, that I do intend to install a cage in the somewhat near future no matter what because of the rigidity it adds to the chassis and the added safety.
I've almost went ahead and ordered these twice. What do you guys think? Will these bolt into the S13 hatch? Or do you think I should go to a 4 point system?
