That plate is useless. it'll actually make it worse, its gonna fill up with dirt and water, eventually rust off and leave you a hole in the firewall...and when it fills with water it'll be running into your car. Hmm.. But good idea..

It actually has a faily large gap at the bottom to prevent that from happening believe me i plan ahead.

Well moving it out of the way is a start yes, but full lock turning left with 17x9.5s with 235 40s dosnt exactly clear it.. This way itll rub the plate all day long and not harm any wiring.. If you have 16s or something smaller or smaller tires you may not have to worry about it as much, but i like the idea of not worrying AT ALL.

not a bad idea with the plate i guess. i relocated my harness to the same spot, but its much thinner

Actually not too bad of an Idea.

Mine kind of worries me in that spot, especially since the black tape stuff is gone right there and its just wires.
