I got my car inspected and my horn wasn't working. So the mechanic inspected it and said the harness underneath the dash was falling apart. He said he temporarily fixed it. Now my right automatic seat belt (passenger). Goes off randomly and flies forward. Is there anyway to unpower them so they don't move, like make them manual or something or just remove them all together. That track thing looks like a pain to deal with. And is there anywhere I can get a new harness for cheap? I plan to do an SR Swap shortly. Is that part of the installation. I know they always talking about splicing into the harness so. It's not the door sensor cause that thinks the doors closed because the dashboard light for the door says it's closed but the seat belt light blinks because the passenger side moves forward. So I'm pretty confused about it. Well thanks in advance.

pull the rear trim on that side out and unplug the motor. While the seat belt is in the rear position of course. This will keep it locked in the rear position. There is something seriously wrong with your harness under the dash if its doing that. When you do the SR swap that part of the harness does not get changed. My suggestion is to either replace or correctly repair the harness that has the problem. I dont know how bad it is but you could risk a dash fire if it is shorting out somewhere.
