hey guys im in the last bits of my swap and cant seem to get my baby started, compression is good and shes getting fuel but no spark, i made sure all of the connections were good and still cant seem to find the culprit, when i looked on my harness where the ecu plug is i found 2 plugs, one plug is a brown plug that connects to the dash and the other is a white plug, ive been down there and cant really seem to find a male connector for it, anyone know where this thing goes? could that be why my car wont start?

Ugh, this guy leaves out so much of what might be wrong and asking about a plug that isn't even used.

here is the real deal....

we have a Red top SR that was matted to an autowe have a 5 speed on it nowand we have a #63 Ecu

so we have gasbut no spark.

i think we might have a bad PTU but i haven't had a chance to test mine on his harness yet do to one reason or another.

so im left with 1 question...

would the Auto TPS screw with the spark?

the auto tps shouldn't do anything to the spark.

I would double check your grounds and make sure you have the proper voltage wires hooked up to the EFI harness.

Also make sure your coilpacks are good, doubt they would go bad, but check. Another thing, because I was in the same situation a few days ago but it ended up being an issue with the wiring. Theres a thick blue/red wire that should get spliced to a thick black/red wire on the harness, check for that. the blue/red wire comes from the plug that should plug into the coilpacks plug.
