Harness question..Need help***

Hey guys,

I have a feeling that my harness is not very complete and if not I need to know so that I can contact OSAKA and tell them that they sent me an incomplete harness.

The harness is in one piece straight from the ECU to the plugs to the front of the engine. But, from the connector that plugs into the ECU to where it comes in the firewall, 6 inches (or more) past the firewall (under the hood) the harness looks like it has been just chopped. I don't know if that lead to the fuse box under the hood or what. It kind of feeds out to the side a little and its a bundle of wires, maybe like 15 or so wires. I got the fuse box as well but the fuse box has more wires on it though. The harness is not in 2 pieces or anything but it looks like its missing something and I don't know where they lead to.

Also my ECU has a "CCS Tuning Rom Factory" sticker on it. Does anyone know anything about that company?

Didn't you know that Osaka doesn't sell engines with uncut harnesses? That is why they are so cheap. Their SR20s come without a MAFS, Ignitor, Downpipe, and probably a few other things. All their SR20s have a cut harness and sometimes no ecu.

still got your KA harness? If I think you are talkign about what I think you are, those are the wires that lead up into the dash, those needed to be rematched anyways to match US spec, last I checked.

what is the dash plug stuff? I will post some pictures because its kinda hard to explain. And yes I do still have my KA engine harness, but the harness didn't branch out like that. or with that many wires. Plus the engine harness didn't unplug from under the dash, just off of the ECU.

As far as the engine not coming with a MAF, downpipe, and ignitor thats okay. MAF has been upgraded to a Z32tt MAF and downpipe has been upgraded as well Ignitor chip I believe I just unpluged the harness from it. And if its missing not too worried because I believe the Q45 share the same ignitor as the SR20DET.
