Harness connector help! ASAP
Got a 91 coupe Ka24de I did a 5 speed swap on, after plugging up the engine harness and ecu I ran into a problem. there are two connectors on the end of the engine harness. A brown one to the dash harness, and a white connector that i can't identify what for. When the car was an auto the white connectors were connected (female on engine harness male on car end) with this 5 speed harness it's also a male on the engine harness. What is that connection for and do I need to cut it and pin in a female connector?

I replaced the harness in my 93 with a wiring specialties harness. My car is also an auto and I had one connector on the end of the harness that didn't match anything. I was told by wiring specialties that they build the harness with both connectors and you just leave the extra one unconnected.
