does anyone know of a harness bar, similar to sparcos, that leaves the back seat available for use, since i want to build a weekend track car that can still have the backseat used during the week. I have an 89 hatch, but either s13 coupe or hatch or s14 is ok i just was looking for a company name.

bars similar to and including Sparco are going to be very expensive, probly the best and cheapest way is to go custom, just talk to local raceshops.

I plan on running a 4 point through the stock s13 seat and attaching one of the top straps to a strut tower bar and the other to one of the holes on the angle piece of the frame that divides the trunk and cabin, usually the seat rests against it. I might just put both straps on the strut bar, now I know everyone is going to want to blab on and on about safety, but I'm not using a harness for safety, or daily driving, just to hold me down when I go drifting in a parking lot.

I said it in your previous thread, and I'll say it again. Running harnesses, even for drifting in a parking lot (stupid by itself) without rollover protection is stupid and asking to get hurt.
