Harness bar w/ coupe doors????

ordering my 4 point harness today, and i was ordering a harness bar with it, but i noticed that they all go up the pillar, and with coup doors there isn't even that hump to bolt it to? so could i bolt it down lower or am i out of luck? or is there a something else?

I believe most ppl who tried to fit a "harness bar" on a vert used the lower seat belt holes and flipped the mounting brackets so that it would work. If you know how to weld, you can potentially weld two nuts behind the seats below the rear quarter window area & bolt it up there.

I would not recommend running a 4 point harness w/o a properly located harness bar. In fact, I personally wouldn't recommend running a 4-point @ all (submarine possibility) and wouldn't recommend any harness for daily driving w/o a roll bar (roll over potential w/ harness on & no roll bar is not good). Please do your research on google/whatever about running 4-point, 5-point harnesses, etc. Sparco & other companies offer diagrams & basic information regarding mounting locations.

I would recommend just doing the seatbelt relocation that AZHitman detailed in his door swap thread. I don't even find that mod super dooper safe compared to stock, but it's definitely better than running a harness w/ a harness bar.
