Welcome!
+1 to the above, and I'll add that the Z32 has no known safety issues in the restraints area of the car when working properly so your focus for any safety/upgrade improvements should be:
1. Brakes. Z32 brakes are barely adequate for the job at hand and especially for a modded car. Look into at least an Akebono brake upgrade kit, best bang for the buck and plenty enough brakes for anything but racing...my next upgrade purchase-to-be as well.
2. Maintenance. The Z32 suffers BADLY from corrosion issues with the harness connectors, and also to the fuel delivery system. Any and all upgrades here will avoid costly damage and repairs associated with tracking down/repairing these problems. I'm still chasing corrosion issues in my '93, new PTU harness about to be installed tomorrow to then have replaced ALL connectors and auxiliary harnesses.
3. Cooling system. Not all but many Z32's suffer from cooling issues that can come from a couple of different sources such as centrifugal clutch fan, bad water pump/120K service needs, and faulty radiator overflow setup. Due to the age of your car, any OEM-only replacement upgrades here (or CSF radiator in place of expensive OEM) will go a LONG way to keeping your Z32 on the road, and you happily driving it.
4. Engine controls. The Z32 often will begin to suffer when engine control items begin to suffer or need replacement. They are hard to service often and costly, leading to "I'll do it later" and further suffering for your car that WILL lead to further problems. A careful test of these controls such as O2 sensors, knock sensor (upgraded harness SERIOUSLY recommended), EGR and other such controls is a must for a long term happy relationship with your Z32 engine.
5. Clutch. Getting down to items that can be done at need, the clutch controls for the Z32 are not up to Nissans' usual standards with the Z32 so all upgrade hardware is recommended by me to ease the burden there, and give you smooth accurate shifting and less wear and tear on the internals. The upgrade clutch pivot ball and upgrade lever arm actually improve the action enough to make an upgraded clutch and pressure plate setup feel better than OEM due to reduced friction (chromoly ball) and flex (solid lever bar).
Anything else can be dealt with at need and there are no other known weaknesses in the Z32 platform, to my knowledge.
Any and all of this can be done with vendors such as CZP and Z1, and using the online service manual and other Z32 repair links found throughout the 'net.
Good Luck!
