Well, I replaced the crank pulley...it still wobbles at idle, but not under any load. Normal?

Anybody hear a ticking noise (like the sound of a spark plug firing) when the engine is warm and you're revving it ever so slightly? You actually have to physically open the hood and put your ear next to the thing you pull to rev the engine (sorry, not too technical). I know i'm being OCD'd, but want to make sure it's normal?

Thanks!

probably just a bit of lifter tick, or an exhaust manifold gasket. and your qx4 does not have a dizzy. as for the tick, run some seafoam through the brake booster vacuum hose, then run some through the gas tank, then run some through the crankcase. it'll clean out everything.

Grr, went out and just tried that. Still no change...

Any other ideas?

you ran seafoam through all 3 systems? your suppose to run the engine for about 100 miles with the seafoam in the crankcase. then change the oil

well after listening to my friends 03 r50 he has a little bit of tick. We narrowed it down the fuel injectors. they get kinda noisy after awhile. especially when the rest of the engine is quiet. so i wouldnt worry about it. yours is probably doing the same thing.

So the sound went away...STP + premium fuel...

I have been running "plus"...must have been the retarded spark timing....
