Ok my connecter from my wiring harness that connects to the backup switch was ripped off and it can no longer be used... i was wondering, can i hardwire the both wires from the switch to the wiring harness?? idk wat the outcome would be.. i was gonna do it now but i just wanted to get some answers from other ppl first... im thinkin.. hardwiring it will make the reverse lights stay on 24/7 but idk . Thanks for your time.

If you mean making the connection permanent versus connector, there would be no difference. The lights will still only get powered when you move stick shift.
