Has anyone successfully hardwired a Valentine one radar detector in an 1999.5 - 2003 Infiniti QX4/Nissan Pathfinder. I tried removing the platic plate over the rear mirror to see what was behind there. I am trying to remove that whole console with the temp/compass and see if there is room for the direct-voltage adapter and if I can hardwire it up there.

I guess if this doesn't work I will have to run a the cigarrette lighter conncetion up the pillar and through the headliner to make it look cleaner than the wire coming down the front of the dash.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'd tap into the cigarette lighter line if that circuit is switched. You know the circuit will handle it and your V1 adaptor is fused as well. I ran mine up the a-pilar as you described and then used the concealed display module.
