Sup guys, weird predicament.

Anyways, get under the car and notice that my rear O2 sensors aren't even connected. The car isn't throwing a light, which I assume is because the old owner took the bulb out or the bulb died or something. Anyways, I bought some new O2 sensors and when I got back under there, I noticed that the clips that the O2 sensors plug into was completely gone. Looks like the previous owner might have even cut them off, for what reason I am not sure. Anyways, so instead of looking for clips, I was wondering if I could just hardwire them in? And if so, is anyone aware of what wires go where? Or should I just look up a wiring diagram and go for it?

Really need to get these things in so I can pass emissions and finally register my car under my name after like 7 months.. lol

Bumping this up cause I am finally getting around to it.

Anyways it's a 97 q45, y33 etc.

I have BOSCH OEM replacement O2 sensors with 2 white, 1 black 1 grey wire. I ordered connectors off of Wiringspecialties.com since that was all that I could really find. The O2 connector has wires 1 black, 1 orange, 1 yellow, 1 white. The harness on the care is 1 black, 1 white, 1 yellow/red, one green/red.

I have been looking for a wiring diagram forever and have not been able to find anything through the internet or through the FSM. Wondering if anybody could help chime in here, I just need to get these connectors wired up so that I can plug in these O2 sensors and finally get the car passing emissions and registered under my name.

Bump.

Any general ideas would be nice, I do have a multimeter but when I got under there we weren't pulling anything it seems like.. Not sure, but need to really get this taken care of.

EDIT: I don't know anybody else with a Q45 so it would be EXTREMELY helpful to me if someone could get under their car and take a pic of their connector for me... just to show me which wire goes where, that would be awesome.

didn't your sensor come with a wiring diagram and key for all color variations of 4 wire OEM sensors???
I should think that they even gave that posi-lock black box connector thingy too that I used.

anyway... here's the best I could do on my '99. I can't get it up on ramps because Junior is on top of them for a head gasket replacement. .... can't decipher everything, because I cut the wires short to avoid burning them on the exhaust.

Nah, I actually got the oem replacements so I didn't have to wire then. Thanks for that though, you're the man. I can't tell if it will actually help right now but I think it will.. gonna get under the car tomorrow.
