Hardbody transmission question

I'm looking to pick up a mid-90s hardbody. There is one I am looking at with a shot Auto transmission. Wanted to know if the manual transmission from a 240 was anywhere close to being the right one. I know it's a long shot, but I happen to have one around. Let me know!
