Okay ive searched till im blue in the face. My question is i was thinkin of sr20 swap now im leaning towards ka24det would this swap work better? Also were could I find a ka24de for sale complete swap? Ive read people say a motor out of a 240 sx will work but somthing about the oilpan and pick-up not workin? Im new to all this swaping stuff, know plenty of honda guys w/ lots of swap knowledge just the whole truck thing is throwing us off a little. Thanx for any help.

you truck already has a ka24e most likely.

True but it has over 230,000 miles on it and I dont want to drop $$$ into a motor w that high miles. Still runs great though never had a problem. Want to build a newer one to put into the truck.

so what exactly is your question.

if you are putting in another ka24e, it woudln't be a swap.

You have to do a little custom work to get a DE into your truck. Your best bet is to go with the SR. You get more power and better reliability.
