I've been researching lift kits for my 94 Hardbody 4X4 and there are a bunch out there. I'm just looking for any opinions and tips on which one you think is best. I'm looking for about 3 inches and i don't want to spend 4Gs on it. I need something durable bc I like to drive it hard.

Both of these vendors offer parts for a variety of 3" lifts for less than $1000. Both are very reputable companies. The lifts on these sights can be installed in less that 8 hours in your garage.

Both of these company's parts have trail proven records and are chosen by most folks in the Nissan 4x4 world.

SLR is another company that makes lifts, but not for the hard body.

if you are planning a suspension lift for your HB, then you will want to get a steering up grade as well. 4x4parts doesn't offer one.

L&P performance does.

they are on a huge back order right now because they build a damn good steering. They sponsored me for the 2006 Real Truck club challenge. I run their stage 3 kit on my frontier and couldn't be happier.

If you want to lift just to fit bigger tires, I would do a body lift. With that you can fit 33" tires on a 4wd hardbody. Then your steering geometry isn't changed at all so you can keep your stock steering for awhile.

When you steering does go, I wouldn't replace it with a stock steering agian. The stock center link is very prone to early wear with a larger tire.

If you need any further help let me know

Thanks for the help guys. I checked out the sights you reccomended and that yielded another question. Whats the difference in application purpose for the articulation and non-articulation lift kits?
