I have had 2 sets of the rectangular driving lights and they never last more than about 6 months and bulbs blow. Anyone have a set that they can recommend as lasting better? Also the lens seems to heat crack quick, both were basic sets bought at local parts places and where not to expensive so I am sure that is why they suck LOL. Need a brand and model recommendation from someone with a set and can say they last better, thanks. I drive at night in the country a lot so I like the extra light. No need for off road KC burner types they are too bright for road use.

I have a set of Trucklite that haven't give me too much grief. They weren't expensive either, I think I paid $30 for the set. Only thing cheap about them was the wiring, easily upgradeable.

i would buy the ebay special.i bought mine on there and they come with a small blue bulb in the bottom of the light that acts as a running light. Not sure the name of the lights but they are surely all over ebay.Get those, then go to local auto parts and get a silvania bulb. But i wouldnt get the expensive ones, they say they work better but really they are just more expensive and go out quicker. lolThe cheap bulbs seem to work good for me. ha
