ok i have a 91 nissan hardbody with 31 10.50 15 on it and want to go bigger i was thinking i would crank the bars a little and do a diff drop bracket and gain a little there and then try to put some 33's or maybe 34's my question is has anyone built a diff drop bracket like the one Trail master sells but i just dont want to spend the money on it if i could build it and gain a little more would be sweet. wish i could go stright axle swap but till then just as big as ifs as i can go to keep up with the yota's were i live and show what a hardbody can do. any help would be greatthanksjustin

It's not as easy as you think as the front end geometry needs to stay perfect. In addition to dropping the axle, you have to lower your upper and lower control arm mounts and fabricate a dropped steering setup as well.

Trailmaster still makes a 4" drop axle lift for D21s. You might check that out. The only down side is how exposed it leaves your torsion bars, as the mounts for those are dropped as well.
