Anyone got a good product or technique for removing hard water spots? I've got a black car and they are everywhere.

I thought about using a diluted solution of Kaboom or Limeaway, butI don't know if that will be dangerous to the paint or not.

I can't buff them off for crap when I wax....I'd be there all day.

Heres a link to Meguiars Hard Water Spot Remover it works great because it helps remove all the mineral deposits that are left behind when the water evaporates. http://www.meguiars.com/?/Hard-Water-Spot-Remover

also try using a spray detailer (ICE spray detailer) after you wash your car, it has always worked for me to remove the waterspots

but if there serious then use what colton92 suggested

Clay bar + wax worked fine with the water spots on mine.

Liquid Ice wax works for me... some say they dont like it on dark colors but it does me fine...

I had these dots alll over my car, 3 washes, still there.. i thought it was something from road work etc... Splashed that ice on a mitt.. gave it a once over... wiped it off...

I went back over to the spots and all i saw was one good lookin guy staring back at me... ohh wait, that was my reflection on a spot free car!

^Great product by the way. I use to use it religiously but now I go to a local 'self-wash' place by my house and wash it there. It's a spot-free wash so I spend about the same price I do with the Mr. Clean but I wash my whole car in less than 10 minutes.

My best idea is to dry your car after a wash. But if your talking about rain spots, then just use meguiars quick detailer and in 10 min it looks amazing.
