So the car runs beautifully and if i turn it off and let it sit for 10-15 minutes it will typically start with no problem, but if i turn it off while pumping gas then try to start it when i am done say 5 minutes later, it will just crank and crank and crank. but after it sits for about 15 minutes it starts back up no problem. any thoughts on why this might happen?

Have you tried putting the gas to the floor when you are cranking it when it acts up?

have you tried anything in terms of diagnosing the problem, and have you replaced any parts recently...? When did this start happening?

Coolant temp sensor cheech ohms when hot and cold. Then check MAF. I had that same friggin issue when hot. Also would die on me after coming off throttle at a stop lights. Shut off and restart. Ended up being the MAF.

why not try pulling codes to see if there is a stored issue?
