This is on a 91 240 SX SE, I just replaced the number 2 injector, and it ran fine for a few weeks. Recently though, the car will not start unless I hold the pedal to the floor, and even then it cranks good for a good 5 seconds before it finally fires. Just put in now plugs, wires and fuel filter...any clue what this could be? To me it has to be something to do with the fuel system, but I'm at a loss. Fuel pressure regulator? Thanks ahead of time

it sounds like it is still getting to much fuel . does it do it only in the am or whenever you start it?

Yes it does it in the morning as well, however, my car is parked on an incline, I still have to put the petal to the florr, but it starts upafter about 2 seconds of cranking, so its better than at other times. A few other things, if I run the car, shut it off, and start it back up, it starts right away. The other thing, after the car starts, it runs fine. There is a slight bit of a rough idle, but I think that has to do with one of the injectors being replaced. Thanks for the input

check coolant temp sensor connection and check your throttle body for carbon build up around the throttle plate, then do a base idle adjustment. these three things are the most common cause of hard cold starts.
