alright..this happend when i was driving tonight.. it suddenly starts getting hard to shift.. as in yu go to go into the next gear and its like a step that yu have to cross and then itll go into gear , if yu rev match it when yur downshifting it works better but its still hard...soo ..now when im parked i have the car in the neutral position...yu can hear the clutch whurling around inside the transmission and normally when yu push in the clutch it stops making the sound , well now i push in the clutch and it still makes the noise and then i put it in first and yu can hear it stop and its hella hard to go into all the gears....possibly TO bearing? we just replaced it and the whole assembly it sits on..this SH#^$s startin to P me off...any helps greatly appreciated... A bad TO bearing usually makes a whining or squeaking noise but usually doesnt contribute to hard shifting. Hard shifting I would look at the fluid levels, proper operation of the slave cylinder ( you can look while someone operates the clutch), shift forks, pressure plate. Is everything new? slave cylinder to? and have you been riding or draging the clutch?

It's obvious that your clutch is not engaging properly. Hence the reason it is easier to shift while matching your engine speed... This same thing happened on my Tiburon and it turned out that the flywheel wasn't allowing the clutch to properly engage. If left untreated you will start to notice that the transmission doesn't want to let go of gears (ie if you park and leave the car in first on a hill) so the car's weight will hold first gear in place as the clutch is unable to do its job. You will start to notice this upon deceleration as well.

Hate to say it, but this sounds to me like a mechanical failure, but I'd try a few easy fixes (like bleeding the lines) before i rip it all apart again...
