Hard-to-find Qx4 trim piece...

I just bought an 01 and the only problem it has is a missing trim piece... at the back of the drivers rear cargo window. It is a black "louvered" looking piece and I have no idea how to go about finding one! Any help would be appreciated!

according to the manual, i believe the piece you're looking for is called " air outlet grille ".

for hard to find pieces like this, i would try the dealership. that way it'll look brand new. another suggestion, you might want to try the local salvage yard . that way you might be able to get one that matches the " worn " look.

I got one off a pathfinder for my qx4 in a yard not to long ago, one was cracked so i thought to replace it. I simply just took the other one off and gave them both a few coats of the duplicolor bumper coating black and they look great.

was $5 for the plastic piece and maybe $8 for paint

Forgive my ignorance, but if you don't mind my asking... how did you go about getting them off? I don't want to create a problem trying to fix one...

Im looking for the trim piece on the rear bottom hatch....anyone suggust a part number or any help would be appreciated
