Okay, i recently did an SR swap(ran mint when i went to check it out), only starts if i take the injector plugs out and crank it, put them back on and crank it again(seemed like it was getting WAY to much fuel). Idle surges(intermittently), i checked everywhere i could think of for vacuum leaks. Is there anything i could be forgetting? heres the list of my setup.

redtop srz32 mafq45 tbhks front mountnismo fpr (set at 42psi)top mount gt30nismo 740cc injectorsgreddy intake mani.tial 38 WGhks ssqvhks EIDS (idle control)wired by import intelligence.

Thats all i can think of, this is the setup as i bought it, i haven't changed a thing

Any suggestions omniscient nico ppls?

Im not 100 percent sure, but if its 16 psi of vacuum when the car is stoped or even running that means that you must have a HUGE boost leak, which then causes you to run more gas, not when you start but when you run so my guess is when you fix your boos leak your car should run a lot better and it might fix other things.

PS. how did you fit the q45 on there, adapter plate.

Its wild, i tryed listening for a hissing, i tryed the old school "spray brake cleaner/carb cleaner" around the possible vacuum leak areas and nothing, no change in idle , i guess im really gonna have to get a pressure tester and go balls out on this, i need this beast driftable asap because its been too damn long...Thanks for the replies dudes

Just got home and rechecked all of the IC piping and couplers, two were a lil loose tighten them up, started right up and had a 20psi vacuum, stopped the surging and ran so sick, took it for a quick drive in my driveway(not in boost) and then it started surging a little bit.....now it was a fluctuating vacuum pressure of 17-20. Anything else i could be missing? thanks

Are you running like an electronic boost controller? Maybe check the blow off valve for sticking something.

No boost controller yet(which is why im letting it get into boost), probably the aem gauge/controller even though i have a boost gauge. well at least it ran solid for a minute, so i can feel better about that, and its basically down to it being a boost/vacuum leak.

well the ECU threw codes 12 and 13 (maf and coolant temp sensor) but i believe it was because i unplugged the maf while it was running. i replaced the coolant sensor and it still ran like GARBAGE once it got warm. Only cranks and starts while the injector clips are out. ANYONE have any idea why that would be? Much appreciation in advance ppls

Took it for a test drive today, even though i have a hks ssqv BOV i still heard compressor surge like crazy, could my BOV be causing it to idle like ballz and not start when its hot? does that make any sense? Im desperate!

I'll check that ish, but now i have an even bigger problem......i pressurized the system to check for leaks, it held 5lbs and only was leaking from my homemade pump, so i figured it wasn't a vacuum leak. I put everything back together fast, started it up, ran pretty good, i went to check the HKS EIDS, grabbed it along with the ecu and then once i touched it the motor stalled and now it doesnt start at all(cold or warm) i checked the harness for wires that could be frayed, there were a few wires cut altogether but i checked a ecu pinout diagram and they were all relating to AC so im lost again....

ok, look i had a problem that relates to this before, it was in a 1996 nissan altima and everything was exactly the same , obiously it wasnt turbo. Does your car have a alarm ?

if yes check your fuses , and make sure they are all good and none are missing ,

now shut the car off and take off the fuel rail and injectors all together from the manifold , carefully have someone open the ign and make sure all the seals and injector are closed, now unplug the ign coils and try to start the car , then post what you saw
