I am fairly new to having a 240 and drifting. lately i have been doing alot of searching around to see waht is available to make a better drift car. i am wondering if the hard tie rod kits available through tanabe are worth the money ? also where is a good place to get an ACT clutch at a good price? i already have the transmission out of one car and am currently doing a transmission swap into my daily driver. if anyone wants a 1991 fastback twincam and is located near hampstead nh let me know.

whether they are worth it or not is mostly up to you: but take a look at your tie rod ends now. they're prolly almost toast. so think of it as the price difference b/w oem and hard tie rod ends. new rods and ends will cost you something, is the extra bit worth it?also, look at the kazama rod ends and the SPL pieces, both are very nice and iirc a wee bit easier on the wallet.-Enzo

i have teins. theyre just as good as the others you've mentioned. and they have spacers so you can make the steering radius bigger. theyre obviously stonger than the stock ones. my stock one's blew up within a week of drifting. well the ball joints busted anyway.

but yeah these tein one's are good and the steering response is a bit sharper.

Marshun!!!

I'm still working on the power steering set-up! Also, Sartin, I am about to purchase a set of Kazama hard tie rod ends in the next month. One of my MOOG units blew up on me while I was cruising down the highway doing 70..........

I really did almost crap my pants but I was able to safely get off the road without killing anybody or destroying a quarter panel!!
