Hi all,

I had my valve cover gaskets and intake collector gasket replaced a few days ago by a shop. I also got a block heater put in at the same time.

Since then, I have noticed that if my car has been for a long while (Like overnight, or full day at work), it has a hard time starting. It won`t do it when it has been sitting for a short while. It does the same thing whether I plug in the block heater or not.

Any ideas or recommendations

This is for my `98 Maxima.

Thanks

Heeter

I'm guessing it's been getting cold enough to warrant the block heater whereever you live. When's the last time you had the starting and charging system tested to make sure it's puttingout the right amount of power?

Good point, MaximA32

I am going to setup an appointment with my shop for a diagnostic evaluation.
