Hard Start all the time????

I have a 95 240 with an S14 blacktop. It started,idled, and ran great...then i put a front mount on, so I relocated my battery to the trunk using a battery relocation kit(2 gauge wire). Ever since then, I have to crank the car 3-5 times to get it to start. It will start every time, but only after I crank it serval times. After I get it started it runs great......Does anyone have any idea what could be the problem??? Thanks, MW

I did the same thing and ever since I have had a weak start..it will none the less though start up on the first crank..you are unfortunate..i would recommend a higher amperage battery

I've got a red top battery...i think its 900 and some cold cranking amps. I would think that would spin it over quite easily.
