Hard Shifting..

disclaimer: I did do a little search to try to find this issue and maybe i suck but didnt find anything, so I posted this but if someone could take a sec to help me I would really appreciate it, and i appologize if this was posted before

Ever since I bought my 89 240sx about 5-6 weeks again, it has be semi-difficult to get into 1st and reverse when the transmission is cold. But the last yesterday when I went to drive the car it was really bad. I couldnt get it into any gear very easily and if I did it grinded really bad. But after it started to warm up a bit it gradually became easier to get into gears. Today I bled the clutch and the dampener thing and it didnt help at all. So what is the deal.

first things first.change the gear oil or pay a shop to do it. buy some gl-4 gear oil(not the stuff that says gl-5 AND gl-4) and put that in.
